The service

Prism is an API proxy that routes your AI requests to various providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google). We provide intelligent routing, session memory, failover, and usage analytics. The service is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the content you send through Prism. You must comply with the acceptable use policies of the underlying AI providers. Do not use Prism to generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights. Keep your API keys secure. You are responsible for all usage under your account.

Account termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that engage in abuse, including but not limited to: excessive rate limit violations, attempts to circumvent free tier limits, using the service for attacks or spam, or any activity that degrades the service for other users. We will attempt to notify you before termination except in cases of severe abuse.

Billing

Prism uses a prepaid balance model. You add funds to your account and costs are deducted per API call. Costs are calculated as the provider cost plus a mode-based markup (Eco 15%, Balanced 20%, Sport 30%). We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days advance notice. Unused balance is refundable upon request within 90 days of the last top-up.

Provider outages

Prism depends on third-party AI providers. We implement automatic failover to minimize disruption, but we are not liable for outages, degraded performance, or errors caused by upstream providers. We do not guarantee any specific uptime SLA.

Limitation of liability

Prism is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 30 days preceding the claim. This includes but is not limited to: lost revenue from API downtime, incorrect AI responses, or billing errors.

Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the email associated with your account at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
